Dawna Peterson is a licensed marriage and family therapist, a homeschooling mother of four, and a foster parent. She has a MEd from the University of Virginia and a BA from UCLA. From 1997-2002 she lived in Cairo, Egypt working with expat families and 2008-2009 she lived in Delhi, India studying Hindi and teaching her kids about South Asian history and culture (along with math, English, and the other usual subjects). When living in the US she has worked as a Child, Marriage and Family Therapist at a variety of community agencies. She resides in Hamilton, OH when she is not living or traveling abroad.
